Federal Work Study Student Research Assistant

Position Description:
The Student Research Assistant is responsible for assisting the Director of Assessment and Executive Director of Institutional Research and Assessment with a variety of research-related tasks, including literature reviews, study design, data collection and analysis, and presenting information in a variety of modes to diverse audiences.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct literature reviews
- Assist in the preparation of survey and interview questions
- Assist in the collection and analysis of data
- Transcribe interview and focus group responses
- Manage and respond to project-related emails
- Maintain accurate records of interview and focus group responses while safeguarding the confidentiality of participants
- Complete data entry related to ongoing University research and assessment projects
- Contribute to the production and editing of research reports and presentations
- Meet with the supervisor regularly to maintain ongoing communication regarding the status of projects and the RA’s performance
- Perform other related duties, as assigned
Requirements:
- Must be s sophomore, junior, or senior level student
- Must have an overall GPA of 3.0 or above
- Must be Proficient in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
